Muhlenberg County Public Libraries is hosting a creative drawing contest throughout the month of March.
The creative drawing contest is for youth in grades 4-12, and entries will be separated into three categories by grade for judging. Categories are 4-5th grade, 6-8th grade and 9-12th grade. Three winners will be selected from each of those groups.
The contest theme is superheroes. Entries should relate to this theme. Entries may be either 8 1/2″ x 11″ (letter-sized paper) or 8 1/2″ x 14″ (legal-sized paper).
Contest entries may be submitted at either Central City or Harbin Memorial Public Library beginning Monday, March 2 at 9 a.m. All entries must be turned in at one of these locations by Friday, April 3 at 5 p.m.
Awards will be presented to contest winners on Saturday, April 11 at 4 p.m. at the Central City Public Library meeting room. The awards presentation will be followed by a teen talent show.
