Grandpa Jones: Kentucky Musician and Comic

Join us for a presentation from Kentucky Chautauqua’s David Hurt as Grandpa Jones!
Louis Marshall “Grandpa” Jones, the son of Henderson County sharecroppers, achieved renown as a vaudeville comic, country musician and eventual cast member on Hee Haw. He enjoyed a 60+ year career before his death in 1998. He is portrayed by David Hurt as part of the Kentucky Humanities Council’s Chautauqua program.
