Daniel Boone: The First Kentuckian

Join us for a presentation from Kentucky Chautauqua’s Kevin Hardesty as Daniel Boone!
Daniel Boone was one of the first explorers and settlers of the land that we now call Kentucky. He first visited Kentucky in 1767, helping blaze trails into the territory and establish settlements. He is portrayed by actor Kevin Hardesty as part of the Kentucky Humanities Council’s Chautauqua program.
Hardesty also visited Muhlenberg County Public Libraries last year as Jefferson Davis.
