Great news! Our patrons can now access Ancestry.com’s Library Edition for free from any device connected to our library network!
Visitors to any of our three branches (Harbin Memorial in Greenville, Central City or Thistle Cottage) can click here or type ancestrylibrary.com into their browser’s website address bar to look for information about their family tree.
This link will work from any device using the library’s Internet network, so you can use our public access computers or bring your own laptop, tablet or smartphone and connect to our free public Wi-Fi.
Ancestry Library Edition is only available on library premises. Those wishing to research from their own homes or other locations can instead use Heritage Quest, which is available from any location for free with your Muhlenberg County Public Libaries’ user card.
