Plans, organizes, and supervises library program for preschool, elementary and young adult library users. Covers circulation desk and associated duties as needed.
Must be motivated and punctual and have a positive attitude, strong commitment to customer service, sense of humor, integrity, honesty, tolerance and flexibility.
This is a part-time position.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in early child development, elementary education, or related field and/or relevant work experience preferred.
- Ability to work well with others
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work
- Strong proficiency with modern computer equipment, including typing, Microsoft Office products or equivalent alternatives, email and other Internet applications.
- Must regularly lift, push, pull or move items weighing up to 20 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving history
- Background check required.
- Drug screen may be requested.
