The big day is almost here! After too many frustrating setbacks to name, Thistle Cottage is finally able to officially reopen with regular business hours!
We’re so excited! Even though we have continued serving our community to the best of our ability through remote requests, appointment-based research assistance, and more, we are ecstatic to return to normal business.
We’ll have a grand reopening event at our History and Genealogy Museum & Archives on Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 2 to 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to drop by between those hours to help us celebrate! We’ll have refreshments and giveaways, and the public areas of the building will be open for people to tour and view.
Following the grand reopening event on Feb. 21, Thistle Cottage will be open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for tours. Appointments are strongly preferred for anyone wishing to do research in our history/genealogy archives, although we may be able to accommodate some walk-in requests.
