You can find the digital access card application at http://mcplib.org/digitalcard/. Please read all rules and regulations on the application before submitting your application.

Digital access cards are not guaranteed. Cards may only be issued for those who provide a valid Muhlenberg County home address.

Please give us at least 3 days to review your application. Once we have processed your request, we will contact you at the email address given on the application form.

Emergency digital cards will be granted on a temporary basis only, and access is not guaranteed. Cards will be valid for no more than 3 months, and after libraries reopen, digital cards will need to be converted to full privilege library cards in a physical library facility in order to continue access. Please bring your proof of Muhlenberg County residency (such as a driver’s license) to the library when you wish to convert your account.

Alternatively, you may upload photos of your proof of residency along with your application. Residents who include photos of an eligible proof of residence will not need to visit the library after reopening to convert their account but must come into the building to receive a physical card.

Current cardholders are not eligible for digital access cards.
