Our book drops will remain open while we are closed, and we have extended due dates to ensure no new fines will be incurred during our closure. Staff will be disinfecting buildings and materials that are returned through our book drops, and we will be available by telephone (270-338-4760) or through our website (http://www.mcplib.org/contact) to answer questions.
We understand this is inconvenient for everyone, but we hope that by taking these measures, we will avoid the spread of this dangerous illness. Please continue to follow all recommendations from health officials, and take care of yourselves! Follow us on social media for further updates.

Re the CONVID19 I am 65 and live alone and am just trying to find a way to get some books to read. I absolutely love to read and I miss being able to get books. 😟

Hi, thanks for reaching out! We aren’t able to circulate our physical books because of the virus, but have you checked out our digital collection? You can read ebooks and magazines, watch certain movies and TV shows or listen to audiobooks on your computer, phone or tablet. It’s free, all you need is your library card number.
You can see what’s available at http://kyunbound.overdrive.com or by downloading the Libby app on a tablet or smartphone. To sign in, just select Muhlenberg County Public Libraries and then put in your card number when asked.
