Thistle Cottage

Muhlenberg County Public Libraries is excited to welcome Abraham Lincoln impersonator David Wolfe to Thistle Cottage on Feb. 26!
Wolfe, who has been recognized statewide by educators and other period re-enactors for his skill at portraying the 16th president, hails from Owensboro, Ky. He graduated from Brescia University with a degree in history, and he now travels around the nation to present his unique Lincoln persona.
Wolfe said he works hard to portray Lincoln as accurately as possible and to make his presentations as interesting and engaging as possible for all ages. He has a unique storytelling style, he said, and has been known to even involve audience members in the show to make sure everyone enjoys the performance. He usually incorporates the importance of education and reading into his performances and discusses Lincoln’s difficulties with bullies in addition to the story of Lincoln’s life and influence on our nation. And, of course, he is a re-enactor and will be dressed in full costume for the presentation.
Wolfe will visit the Muhlenberg County Public Libraries’ Thistle Cottage on Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m. to present his show. Wolfe promises an educational but fun experience for all participants.
Thistle Cottage is located at 122 South Cherry Street in Greenville, Ky.
The presentation is free and open to all ages. We encourage everyone to join us for this fun event!
