Muhlenberg County Public Libraries welcomes Tommy Eades back to Muhlenberg County on Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. Eades, who played basketball for Central City High School and Belmont College, has officiated numerous NCAA men’s basketball games, including the 2010 NCAA Tournament championship game. He is a 2018 inductee of the Muhlenberg County Athletic Hall of Fame.
Eades will talk about his experiences playing and officiating basketball at this program.
This program is free and open to the public.
This program is held in conjunction with the Smithsonian’s Hometown Teams: How Sports Shape America exhibit on display at Thistle Cottage Aug. 25-Sept. 29, 2018.
